Welcome to Hazelgrove German Shepherd Dogs

|
'Hazelgrove' is the Kennel Club registered affix for all German Shepherd Dogs bred by Ann Robinson.
Ann first purchased a German Shepherd in mid 1970 as a companion, but soon became interested in the Showing side of the Breed.
There have been some wonderful experiences with the dogs, the first red rosette is very special, and a few tears of joy were shed.
Hazelgrove Cora, one of the first Show dogs bred by Ann won a strong class of seventeen at Norfolk GSD Championship Show under Judge Malcolm Griffiths, and always was well placed under visiting German Judges.

Hazelgrove Monika (Mona) came along after fifteen years and was actually sold as a pet, but on the day of collection the purchasers changed their mind and took her litter sister instead, thank goodness!!!! Mona at only her second Show at 7 months of age beat thirty four puppies to win Best Puppy in Show at a Breed Show. She beat all the puppies that won at the two day Show so quite an achievement, and a real thrill for me, plus her sire won Best Dog that day (Xylona Codie). She went on to win many classes and Best Puppy Bitch awards, and was always placed very highly when she went into Junior.
When she was old enough she was mated. Then when she was fully fit she came back out, straight into Limit at a Champ Show and won it, beating several CC winning bitches. Mona was the daughter of Karanberg Lissi (va fedor von Arminius) and Lissi produced winners in every litter, also Hazelgrove Karlo SchH3 FH (Cello vom Aschera). Mona herself produced two winning males to Int. Champion Gayvilles Nilo, one being Hazelgrove Eick at Zolkai 2CCs.
